Walking
From the main Lamu town, head towards the waterfront. Follow the path along the shore, keeping the sea on your right. You'll pass various shops and local vendors. Continue walking until you reach the end of the Lamu waterfront, where you will see a small boat dock. Here, you can hire a small boat (known locally as a 'dhow') to take you across to Shela Beach. The boat ride takes about 10-15 minutes.

Once you arrive at Shela Beach, disembark from the boat and walk along the sandy beach. Keep walking in the direction of the Shela village. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the start of the village. Continue walking until you see the signs for Forodhani House, which is located along the beach. It is positioned close to the shoreline, so you should be able to see it as you approach.
