If you're driving in San Cristobal de las Casas, head towards the city center. Use Calle 31 de Marzo and look for the entrance near the Templo de San Nicolás, which is located behind the Cathedral. The Diocesan Historical Archive is on the second floor of the building on Calle Guadalupe Victoria. There is no designated parking, so street parking may be available nearby, but be cautious of local parking regulations.

To reach the Diocesan Historical Archive via public transportation, take a local bus or colectivo (shared taxi) to the Centro Histórico. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Cathedral, which is a well-known landmark. From the Cathedral, walk towards the Templo de San Nicolás. The entrance to the archive is located behind the Cathedral on Calle Guadalupe Victoria, on the second floor of the building at Calle 31 de Marzo. The bus fare is typically low, around 10-15 pesos.

If you're already in the Centro Histórico area, you can easily walk to the Diocesan Historical Archive. Start at the Cathedral, face the Templo de San Nicolás, and walk around to the back. The entrance to the archive is directly behind the Cathedral on Calle Guadalupe Victoria. It is located on the second floor of the building at Calle 31 de Marzo. This route is very pedestrian-friendly and will take about 5-10 minutes from the Cathedral.
