Getting There

• Bus

  From the city center, head to the nearest bus station, which is usually located at Place de la République. Look for buses heading towards the outskirts of Marrakech, specifically those going to 'Agafay' or 'Lalla Takerkoust.' The bus ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to go to Agafay Desert. Once you reach the bus stop, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the entrance of the Agafay Desert.

• Shared Taxi

  Go to the nearest shared taxi stand, typically found near the Medina or major squares like Jemaa el-Fnaa. Look for a taxi with a yellow emblem indicating it's a shared taxi. Ask the driver to take you to 'Agafay Desert.' The journey will take about 30 minutes, and you will share the ride with other passengers, which can be a great way to meet fellow travelers.

• Organized Tour

  Many local tour companies offer pickup services from hotels or central locations in Marrakech. Check with your accommodation or visit a local tourist office to book an organized tour to Agafay Desert.   If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from a local shop in Marrakech. Head towards the outskirts of the city, following the main roads leading south.
