Car
If you're traveling by car from the main Fish River Canyon viewpoints, start at the Fish River Canyon viewpoint, which is approximately 10 kilometers from the main entrance. Head south on the C37 road. Continue driving for about 25 kilometers until you reach a junction. Take the left turn onto the D347 road towards Ai-Ais. After approximately 15 kilometers, you will see a sign for Vasbyt Bend. Turn left and follow this unpaved road for about 5 kilometers until you reach Vasbyt Bend.

Public transportation options are limited in the Fish River Canyon area. However, you can take a bus or shuttle service from the nearest town, which is Hobas. From Hobas, hire a local taxi or arrange a shuttle service to Vasbyt Bend. The journey from Hobas to Vasbyt Bend will take approximately 30 to 40 minutes, depending on road conditions.
