From the center of Tromsø, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is usually located at 'Storgata'. Look for bus number 26, which goes directly to the University of Tromsø. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the 'Universitetet i Tromsø' bus stop, disembark and follow the signs to the Arctic–Alpine Botanic Garden, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Tromsø at 'Storgata'. Head northeast towards 'Kirkegata', then continue straight to 'Bjerkaker'. From here, follow the signs towards the University of Tromsø. The walk will take around 40-50 minutes, and you will enjoy scenic views along the way, including the waterfront.
