Walking
From the central Plaza de Armas in Cusco, head north on Avenida del Sol. Continue straight for about 10 blocks until you reach the intersection with Calle Cascaparo. Turn left onto Calle Cascaparo and follow it until you reach the intersection with Calle San Francisco. Here, turn right. Continue walking uphill on this road, which becomes a dirt path as you approach the entrance of Saqsaywaman. The site will be visible from a distance.

Public Transport (Minibus)
Starting from Plaza de Armas, walk to the nearby Calle Puente del Inca where you can catch a minibus heading towards Saqsaywaman. Make sure to look for one that explicitly mentions 'Saqsaywaman' on the front. The fare is about 1-2 soles. The minibus will drop you off at the entrance of the site, which is about a 15-minute ride.
