Walking
From the center of Huaraz, start at Plaza de Armas (the main square). Head northwest on Avenida Luzuriaga until you reach the junction with Avenida 28 de Julio. Turn left onto Avenida 28 de Julio and continue walking until you reach the bus terminal (Terminal Terrestre de Huaraz), which will be on your right. At the bus terminal, look for buses heading towards Caraz or other nearby towns. Make sure to confirm that the bus will take you to Callejon de Huaylas.

Once you’re on the bus, inform the driver or assistant that you want to go to Callejon de Huaylas. The bus will take you through the scenic route along the valley. The journey should take approximately 30 to 45 minutes, depending on traffic. Keep an eye out for the stunning views of the mountains on either side of the valley.

The bus will drop you off at the main entrance to Callejon de Huaylas. From there, you can explore the area on foot. There are various trails and viewpoints you can access. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery and take advantage of the photo opportunities!
