Bus
From Huaraz, head to the main bus terminal located at Av. José de la Torre, 5 blocks from Plaza de Armas. Look for buses heading to Chavín de Huantar, which is approximately a 2-3 hour ride. The bus fare is usually around 10-15 soles. Confirm with the bus driver that they stop near the Chavin National Museum.

Walking
Once you arrive in Chavín de Huantar, disembark at the bus terminal. The Chavín National Museum is approximately a 15-minute walk from the terminal. Exit the terminal and turn left onto Av. 28 de Julio, continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with CRFF+82V. Turn right, and the museum will be on your left.

Alternatively, upon arriving at the Chavín de Huantar bus terminal, you can take a local taxi to the museum. Taxis are readily available outside the terminal, and the fare to the Chavín National Museum should be around 5-10 soles, depending on negotiation.
