If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Iquitos. Head southwest on Av. José Quiñones towards Av. La Marina. Continue straight onto the PE-5N highway. Follow the signs for the Nauta direction. Upon reaching Nauta, take the turning onto the road that leads to the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve entrance. Continue driving on this road until you reach the designated parking area near the Reserva Nacional Pacaya Simaria. Please note that you may need a four-wheel-drive vehicle to navigate some parts of the road, especially during the rainy season.

Public Transportation
To reach Reserva Nacional Pacaya Simaria via public transportation, start at the Plaza de Armas in Iquitos. Look for a mototaxi or a taxi to take you to the local bus terminal. From the terminal, board a bus heading to Nauta. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once in Nauta, you can find mototaxis or local tours that will take you to the entrance of the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve.
