    If you are driving from Cusco, head northwest on Av. El Sol towards Av. La Cultura. Continue straight onto Av. de la Cultura for about 2.5 km, then turn left onto Av. Huayruropata. After 1.5 km, turn right onto the road leading to Mollepata. Follow this road for approximately 70 km until you reach Mollepata. From Mollepata, take the road towards Soraypampa, which takes about 2 hours. Keep an eye out for signs leading to the Salkantay Trail. Parking may be available at the trailhead, but check local guidelines for any fees.

    To reach the Salkantay Trail using public transportation, start at the main bus station in Cusco. Look for buses heading to Mollepata.
