Car
If you're traveling by car, you'll first need to reach the town of Mollepata or Soraypampa from Cusco. From Cusco, take the route towards Mollepata, which is approximately a 2-hour drive. Once in Mollepata, continue towards Soraypampa for another hour. From Soraypampa, park your car at the designated parking area. Then, begin your trek along the Salkantay Trail towards the Temple of the Three Windows, which is approximately a 2-3 hour hike from Soraypampa. Follow the signs that lead you towards Machu Picchu, and keep an eye out for signs indicating the Temple along the way.

Public Transport
For those using public transportation, take a bus or shared van from Cusco to Mollepata. Buses depart from the main bus terminal in Cusco and the journey takes about 2 hours. After arriving in Mollepata, you can either take a shared taxi or continue by foot to Soraypampa. The shared taxi will cost approximately 10-15 soles per person and takes about an hour. Once in Soraypampa, you can begin your hike along the Salkantay Trail to the Temple of the Three Windows, which will take around 2-3 hours. Look out for the path that leads towards Machu Picchu, and follow it until you reach the Temple.
