After approximately 6 kilometers, look for the turn-off to the dirt road that leads towards Penedo do Tanque. This road might not be well marked, so be vigilant for local signs or landmarks. Continue on this road for about 2 kilometers until you reach a small parking area. From there, you will see walking paths leading up to Penedo do Tanque, which is approximately a 15-minute hike uphill.

If you prefer public transport, take a bus from Braga to Terras de Bouro. The bus service is operated by Rede Expressos and runs several times a day. Once you arrive in Terras de Bouro, you may need to hire a taxi or walk to the N204 road. If walking, head northeast towards the N204 for about 1 kilometer, and then follow the same directions as by car. Note that the paths are not always well marked, so it may be helpful to have a map or a GPS-enabled device.
