From the center of Ponte de Lima, head to the main bus station located at Rua da Alegria. Look for the bus line going towards Vilar da Veiga. After disembarking, follow the signs towards Cascata do Arado, which will be approximately a 15 to 20-minute walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Ponte de Lima, heading southwest towards the bridge over the Lima River. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto Rua do Padrão. Follow this road as it turns into a rural path, and keep walking for about 4 kilometers. You will see signs directing you towards Cascata do Arado as you approach Vilar da Veiga. The hike offers beautiful views, so take your time and enjoy the scenery.

Bicycle
For those who are comfortable cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Ponte de Lima. Start your journey by heading southwest towards the bridge over the Lima River. After crossing, take the dirt path that leads towards Vilar da Veiga. The route is approximately 4 kilometers and is mostly flat, making it a pleasant ride. Follow the signs for Cascata do Arado once you get closer to Vilar da Veiga.
