Walking
If you're starting from the Sintra train station, exit the station and walk towards the main road (Avenida Dr. Miguel Bombarda). Turn right and walk straight until you reach the bus stop for the 434 bus. Take the bus towards the city center (Sintra). After about 20 minutes, the bus will bring you to the Sintra city center. From there, you can either walk or take a tram towards Lisbon. If walking, head to the direction of the Sintra National Palace and walk downhill towards the main road (Rua da Ferraria). Once you reach the main road, follow the signs to the train station, and then take a train to Lisbon. Once in Lisbon, take the metro or walk to Largo de São Vicente. If you prefer taking the tram, use tram 28 from the city center to get closer to the location.

Public Transport
From the Sintra train station, board a train heading towards Lisbon (Lisboa). After about 40 minutes, you will arrive at Rossio Station in Lisbon. Upon exiting, follow the signs to the metro (Green Line) and take the metro towards Cais do Sodré. Get off at the 'Martim Moniz' station. From there, you can take bus 734 or tram 12E, which will take you closer to Largo de São Vicente. Get off at the stop 'Largo de São Vicente' and you will be just a short walk away from the Mosteiro de São Vicente de Fora.
