From the center of Tomar, head towards Rua da Liberdade and walk straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the banks of the River Nabão. Once you arrive at the river, turn right and follow the path along the river for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by several scenic spots along the riverbank. Continue until you reach the end of the path, where you'll find a small dock. Here, you can catch a boat to Almourol Castle. The boat ride takes about 15 minutes.

From the main square in Tomar, walk to the bus station located on Avenida da Liberdade. Take the bus to the town of Vila Nova da Barquinha, which runs every hour. The bus ride is approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Vila Nova da Barquinha, follow the signs to the riverfront, where you will find the boat service to Almourol Castle. The boat ride takes around 10 minutes.
