If you are starting from the heart of Saint-Louis, head east on Avenue de la République towards Place Faidherbe. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach Place Faidherbe, which is a prominent square in the city. From there, you will see the Senegal River in front of you. Take a left turn onto Rue du Port and continue walking until you reach the waterfront. The Grande Mosquée de Saint-Louis is located just across the river, so you will need to cross the bridge. Once you cross the bridge, follow the signs towards 'Grande Mosquée' and you will find the mosque on your right side, set against a beautiful backdrop.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in the city center. Start your journey on Avenue de la République and head towards Place Faidherbe. Once you reach the square, take the road leading to Rue du Port. Cycle along Rue du Port until you reach the bridge over the Senegal River. Cross the bridge carefully, and once on the other side, look for signs directing you to the Grande Mosquée. The mosque will be located a short distance ahead on your right.

To reach the Grande Mosquée by public transport, find the nearest bus stop on Avenue de la République. Look for a bus heading towards the bridge over the Senegal River. Once on the bus, inform the driver that you are going to the Grande Mosquée. The bus will drop you off near the bridge. From there, you can walk across the bridge and follow the signs to the mosque, which will be visible shortly after you cross.
