To reach Mae Kampong Waterfall from the center of Chiang Mai, head to the Old City area and find a Songthaew (red truck taxi) that is going to Mae On. You can catch a Songthaew from the main road near Tha Phae Gate. Tell the driver you want to go to Mae Kampong Waterfall. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the entrance to Mae Kampong, you may need to walk a short distance to the waterfall itself.

For a more personalized ride, you can hire a Tuk-Tuk from the Old City or your accommodation. Negotiate the fare beforehand, usually around 400-600 THB one way. Ask the driver to take you to Mae Kampong Waterfall. This option is more flexible and allows you to stop along the way for photos or refreshments.
