Start at the Loei Bus Station (สถานีขนส่งผู้โดยสารจังหวัดเลย) located in the city center. Purchase a ticket for a bus heading to Nong Hin District. The buses usually depart every hour. Once you arrive at Nong Hin, you will need to find a local songthaew (shared taxi) that can take you closer to Phu Pa Po. Make sure to tell the driver to drop you off at the entrance of Phu Pa Po Mountain.

From the Nong Hin area, hop onto a songthaew that goes towards Phu Pa Po. The fare is usually around 30-50 THB per person. The songthaew should drop you off at the foot of the mountain. Here, you may need to pay a small entrance fee to access the viewpoint.

Once you are at the foot of Phu Pa Po Mountain, follow the marked trail leading to the viewpoint. The hike is moderate in difficulty and should take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on your pace. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
