From Nakhon Ratchasima city center, head to the main bus station (Nakhon Ratchasima Bus Terminal). Look for a bus heading to Phimai. The bus ride will take approximately 1-1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Phimai, disembark at the Phimai bus station. From there, you can walk to Phimai National Museum, which is about a 15-minute walk. Head south on Tha Songkran Road, and you will find the museum located at 8 Tha Songkran Rd, Nai Mueang.

Songthaew
You can also take a songthaew (shared taxi) from Nakhon Ratchasima to Phimai. Head to the area near the bus terminal where songthaews wait. Look for one that has a sign indicating it’s going to Phimai. The ride will take about 1 hour. Ask the driver to drop you off near the Phimai National Museum. The museum is located at 8 Tha Songkran Rd, Nai Mueang, which is within walking distance from where the songthaew will stop.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer a more active approach, you can rent a bicycle in Nakhon Ratchasima. From the city center, head east towards Phimai. The journey is around 60 kilometers and will take about 3-4 hours, depending on your cycling speed. Follow the main road signs to Phimai. Upon reaching Phimai, navigate to Tha Songkran Road, where the Phimai National Museum is located at 8 Tha Songkran Rd, Nai Mueang.
