Car
If you are driving, navigate to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park using GPS coordinates: Latitude -0.90113, Longitude 29.6855124. From the main entrance of the park, follow the signs towards Butogota. The Bwindi Forest Farm & Campsite is located approximately 5 km from the park entrance, along a well-marked dirt road. Be cautious of road conditions, especially during the rainy season, as some areas may become muddy or difficult to traverse.

Public Transport (Matatu)
To reach Bwindi Forest Farm & Campsite from the nearest town, Kisoro, take a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Butogota. The journey will take about 1 hour and cost around UGX 5,000 to UGX 10,000. Once you arrive in Butogota, you can either walk (about 30 minutes) or hire a motorcycle taxi (boda boda) for approximately UGX 3,000 to UGX 5,000 to reach the campsite. The campsite is located about 5 km from Butogota center.

If you are already within the vicinity of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, you can walk to Bwindi Forest Farm & Campsite. From the main park gate, take the trail leading towards Butogota and follow the trail signs. The walk is approximately 5 km and may take around 1.5 hours, depending on your pace. Make sure to carry water and wear appropriate hiking shoes, as the terrain can be uneven.
