I absolutely recommend this tour. Where else could you do a horse back ride when not in Monument Valley ? And Sacred monument tour are absolutely professional : my wife and I we are beginners and had Nikko and Logan as guides. They were constantly checking and caring very nicely everything. A plus : relevant information about the environment at every pause and picture sessions. Really cool experts. Ask for Nikko and Logan !

Our guide, Zeke was very friendly and told us a lot about the area, the movie locations and Navajo traditions. Very enjoyable tge 2 hours flew by. The company is awesome. We are eternally grateful that they waited 20 minutes as we were stuck in traffic. So we had our own tour. The horses were gentle (Mine was also a kids horse, which worked for me). When booking this remember it’s a good 2 hour drive from Page, and they are on Navajo time which is an hour later than Az time.

We loved everything about this tour: 2 hour horseback ride in Monument Valley with the Sacred Monument Co. We are older ladies and had smaller horses (mine was a kids horse, too they told me). They kindly waited for us as we were caught in traffic getting into the monument valley area, so we had a private tour. Pointed out many interesting sights and movie locations and Navajo traditions.

My husband and I did the 2 hour tour through Monument Valley. Our tour guide was Logan, a young man full of knowledge and insight. He shared so many interesting facts with us about the area. He regularly checked in with our group to make sure we were doing ok. He really knew horses and we felt safe with him as our guide through the valley. We had such a great time. Would love to come back with our kids one day.

My wife and I booked the 2 hour horse riding tour. We both had a great experience and greatly enjoyed the tour. All the staff were friendly and our tour guide was extremely patient with the group (all novice riders). The horses were very friendly and easy to ride. We highly recommend Sacred Monument Tours.

We are not horseback riders but this was so enjoyable. Of course the scenery was magnificent. Our guide,Logan, was attentive and informative and did a great job with a group of amateur riders. I’m sorry another reviewer felt the staff weren’t welcoming, we didn’t have that experience. They were busy grooming, feeding and saddling the horses while still being friendly and helpful.

This was definitely the highlight of mine and my wife's adventure through Arizona. The tour provided a beautiful way to view monument valley on such well mannered and well cared for horses, with amazing guides. Our guide Logan made sure everyone was okay and having a good time, and was kind enough to take pictures at key spots. This was my wifes first time on a horse and my first time in many years, and we were both extremely comfortable and confident on the trail. If you have never been on a horse and are worried if you can/should do this, the answer is 1000% yes. Everyone on our tour of 7 was an amateur rider and everyone had an amazing time. You will definitely be sore for a few days if you don't ride often, but don't let a little soreness stop you from missing the experience of a lifetime!!

The horseback ride thru Monument Valley was beyond what we could have expected. Lorne, our guide, was knowledgeable and friendly. He took time to explain interesting facts about his native people, wildlife, plants and of course the many mesas, monuments and landscape. He also made sure we were comfortable throughout the ride. The trails (some steep, rocky and very narrow) made for an absolutely thrilling experience. We rode out to literally at the base of one of the grandest mesas. The views were fantastic. This should be considered a bucket list adventure. We were so happy to have the chance to do this horseback ride. It will not disappoint.

This was a truly magical experience for my partner's birthday. I cannot thank the Native Americans and their beautiful horses enough. Riding out into Monument Valley on horseback is is something I will never ever forget.

Would not recommend. Poor customer service, the guys who checked us in were apathetic and unwelcoming, the guide did not share much info, and sometimes he would take off with his horse and then wait for us to catch up. At the end of the ride one of the employees rudely asked me to take the saddle water bottle holder back to the shed myself after paying $220 for 2 people. Guide was bored, horses were bored, and I would have been bored if it weren't for the beautiful scenery and the enjoyment of being on a horse again. If you are just looking to ride horses it is a convenient location if you are OK with the risk of being treated poorly.
