Nur was a fantastic tour guide. He met us at exactly the appointed time and started giving information about this lovely city instantly. He told us facts about everything - from the trees to the buildings and people in history. We walked and talked and 2 hours flew by. I highly recommend this tour.

I think this tour has potential to be really good depending on your tour guide. We had David and it was the most awful and embarrassing tour I've ever been on. He had no knowledge of anything - not little knowledge, I do mean zero knowledge. He couldn't tell us anything or answer any questions. David was unprepared and incompetent. He started off the tour by getting his friend named Darren on the phone on speakerphone. Every single time we asked a question, he would repeat it to Darren on the phone and Darren had to give him the answer. He could not answer a single question or tell us anything about any of the sites without asking him, even simple questions like "what is that building," or "can we go inside." He walked mainly having conversations with Darren or in silence, unless we asked him something (which we eventually gave up on). He also seemed lost as to where we were or how to get to the next place. He would ask Darren things like, "Hey Darren we are standing on this street what is that building?" "Hey Darren, is the capitol building where the Congress meets?" "Hey Darren what is the supreme court building used for?" "Hey Darren who is that statue of?" "Hey Darren why are flags half mast today?" When we asked if he could tell us anything about Capitol hill: "it's where laws are made." That was all he could say. After Darren informed him a statue we saw was of General Ulysses Grant, David told us, "Ulysses Grant was a general that fought for the confederates in civil war." Even other unprofessional and unprepared things such as, "I should have worn more comfortable clothes today, "hey Darren where did I park my car?" And when his phone ran out of battery after having Darren on the phone so long he asked us- "my phone died, can you pull up your GPS and see where we are?" The whole situation was really unbelievable. It got to the point where the other customers and I started googling things on the internet and sharing what we found with each other. David told us several times that he is new and trying to "figure things out." I can understand that, but it shouldn't be at the expense of paying customers. Figure it out on your own time. One positive is when I called the company and told them what happened, they issued a full refund immediately. I really appreciated that. I recommend if you book this tour, make sure the tour guide is good and experienced, perhaps someone mentioned in previous reviews, and avoid David at all costs.

Terrible experience. They send us a person who knew nothing about Washington and after 30 embarrassing minutes he cancel the tour. A real waste of time

Tour of monuments booked then postponed to following day by Viator, then guide was a no show. Full refund requested as we planned our whole day around this booking. Leaving for New York having missed the main sights that we came to see.

We had a good time with our knowledgeable guide Nur! He took us through the mall while explaining everything in sight and even stuff not directly in sight.

Unforeseen circumstances and very considerate of them to be understanding. Thank you. We will see you soon.

I had an emergency, I tried to reschedule the tour, they wouldn’t let me. So I showed up to tue scheduled paid time and no one showed up or contacted me. I need a refund.

Rochelle was full of knowledge of Washington history as well as being a friendly person. In spite of the rain, she took her time by walking slow enough for us seniors and was patient in answering our questions
