Lynn was fabulous. Food was wonderful. Such an experience! Saw a demonstration years ago but this experience is a must for anyone visiting the Quarter.

I had a great time. Food that was made was delicious. Very detailed instructions. I loved the gumbo. The banana fosters had a little too much alcohol for my liking but everything was phenomenal

Our meal was delicious, the instructor knowledgeable and the staff courteous. Best part was sharing the experience with my son. And getting to know the others in our small cooking cohort was super fun.

Chef Tom was amazing and made us all feel so comfortable, no matter our level of cooking skill. Not only did he walk us through the steps of each recipe but also explained why we were doing it. Every dish was delicious and we all shared a lovely meal together at the end.

We had a wonderful time learning to cook gumbo, jambalaya, and Bananas Foster from Chef Maria. She is a great storyteller and chef who enriched the experience with stories of cooking and traveling. Plus, the food was delicious!

This is an Erik only review as Cheryl did not attend. I attended on April 16, 2024. I checked in at the desk and waited to be called. We were led into the back classroom area that contained 5 cooking stations a table for 10 and an alcohol serving area. Our instructor was Chef Maria. She was knowledgeable, an excellent teacher and funny as hell. She was great and had great stories that she shared. We started the class with Bloody Mary's. They were great. In the class we made (and ate) Gumbo, Gulf Fish Amandine, Pecan Rice, Marinated Tomato Sald with Crab Meat Remoulade dressing and Banna's Foster. All the ingredients are prepped for you so spend your time cooking. The ingredients were fresh and of the highest quality. Chef Maria guides you through the processes needed. After a dish was finished, we sat at ate it. All the dishes came out excellently and tasted great. Be advised you will eat a lot, so have a minimal breakfast. I had one of times ever on this outing. I would do it again without hesitation. I give this my highest recommendation. Thank you, Chef Maria!
