What a great day - Rudy was a delight and a lovely selection of delicious wines. Our favourite winery was Descendant Cellars with a difficult choice as to which our favourite wine was.

First time to Woodinville, and this tour was a great way to learn about the wineries and their wine itself. Peter was very knowledgeable, he really knows his stuff. Money well spent- we plan on returning someday for sure- ended up buying and sending home wines, so we can feel like we are back in this beautiful part of the country again.

Our tour guide, Peter, was full of knowledge and had extensive credentials to back it up. On our journey to four different wineries, Peter helped us understand the complexities of wine making, wine characteristics and all around made for an enjoyable experience. This was the first time my 24 yr old son did wine tasting and how I chose to celebrate my birthday! Every winery had something different and we thoroughly enjoyed each one! But to be honest, the hilight of our trip was our highly educated Tour guide, Peter. He was a plethora of knowledge and educated us on the different grapes, regions and everything in between. I would definitely recommend this tour to my friends.

This tour was wonderful! I highly recommend. Pete was our guide for the day and not only was he an excellent driver but he is highly educated when it comes to all there is to know about wine.
We went during slow season so there were only 4 of us on the tour which was really nice. The bus was comfortable and the ride from downtown Seattle to Woodinville was only about 30 mins or so. Pete expertly navigated us through the traffic on the highway.
We went to Chateau Michelle, Patterson, Martedi, and Efeste wineries. All were great and had their own unique vibe. Lunch was available at the Patterson stop. The menu was huge and the food we ordered was delicious, definitely something for everyone and a good chance to put food in your belly while drinking all that wine! The tour given by the owner of Martedi was excellent. So cool to see the behind the scenes of wine making.
THE TASTING FEES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE TOUR!!! Based on previous reviews it looks like a lot of people do not know how to read or choose to ignore this part. Pete made a really good point that it is in no one’s best interest to include the tasting fees in the cost of the tour. Most wineries will waive the tasting fee if you purchase a bottle. So if the tour company included the cost of tasting fees, not only would the tour price go up, but they would be collecting $$$ from you which would have been waived when purchasing a bottle. Damned if then do, damned if they don’t!
My husband and I have hopped around wineries on our own in the past, but on this tour I actually LEARNED a lot thanks to Pete. The tour was an equal combo of tasty wine, education, and good conversation.
My only feedback would be to change up the order of the wineries. I would have enjoyed Martedi, Patterson, Efeste, then Chateau. We started at the most grandeur spot and then ended with the smaller wineries. I think the wonder of the Chateau at the end would have been a cool end to the tour. That is just my own personal opinion, other than that I wouldn’t change a thing.
If you are on the fence about booking this tour then I am here to tell you to go for it! It was such a relaxing day, so nice to be driven around and meet some new friends and try new wines. I would highly recommend Pete!!! He knows his grapes!!! If I were back in the area I would totally book this tour again.
