Wonderful guide who gave us an intimate portrait of Chinatown and allowed us to meet people and learn history. It was well paced, not rushed. Will recommend this tour to others.

I did this tour with Fan as a guide, it was really great! He explained everything so well and had an answer to all my questions. I would certainly advise Dan as a guide since he was so friendly and knowledgable

damoc94

Dan was my guide and he was very insightful about the history and knowledge of the neighbourhood. I went to the Little Italy tour which Dan was also my tour guide, there were some overlaps but he was just as insightful

We can totaly recomend this tour and especialy the tourguide named Dan, he was very informative and we enjoyed it very much. Thank you

Guide was knowledgeable and it was convenient to have someone do the work for me in determining where to go. The guide was personable and gave time for pictures and questions, and lunch recommendations. Access to the benevolent building was interesting and added a lot. Guide had some strong opinions on current events and while we were in general agreement, I could see where that could get awkward quick! Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars.

The tours listed all ages. Opinions/bias of our tour guide overshadowed and colored the tour. Some information not appropriate for a 9 year old.

We had a great time during this Chinatown tour! Chinatown seems a place tourists can easily walk in alone, but with the same ease they can get lost. Our guide Dan brought us to all the most interesting spots, illustrating us the history and raise of Chinatown. He also pointed out the most interesting personalities in the history of the neighborhood. We ended our tour with a visit of the American Chinese Center, with photos and documents dated back to the beginning of the XX century! I also highly recommend the Little Italy tour, also operated by Tommy's New York, that we did on the same day always with Dan.

Nice experience. Interesting places and stories. The tour guide is friendly and informative. Got the chance to visit an office which is usually not open to public. Recommended.

Our tour guide Dan was great and we really enjoyed the whole time. Dan was really knowledgeable about the history of the area, both long ago and more recently. He kept the pace lively and while I’d worried my teenagers might get bored, they never did. Seeing inside the temples & community center was special; something we’d not have been able to figure out on our own. Our family also ate at 2 of the places Dan recommended; yum. We ended up adding on the Little Italy tour as well, also well worth the time.
