Had an amazing time on the Classic Philly Bike Tour! The tour guides had great energy and made the tour a lot of fun. They also made it very safe - one guide assisted in making sure the car traffic was respectful of our space while the other lead the way. This was my first time in Philly and wow, I was blown away by the history I the city! I was able to see famous film sites, historic buildings, art sculptures, bike trails, river walks, bridges, the whole thing. The tour guide (Joe) had so much knowledge about Philly since he has biked the city for 30 years. He was so friendly and answered a lot of questions we had about architecture, city design, historical figures, and bikes! It was so awesome. The bikes they let us use were great, we were provided plenty I water, and they even provided helmets! I love biking in every new city I go, and this was one I the best tours I've been on. Name tags next time would be nice so I can get to know some I the others on the tour! I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see Philly.

We've done several bike tours, and this was our favorite so far. Jonas brought the city to life for us with his passion for the history and his knowledge of the known and lesser known parts of Philly. We like to do a bike tour on the first day visiting a new city, then on the next few days we know where we want to spend our time. This worked perfectly today. We also felt super safe and we are in our sixties. Thanks again! The Halls

We definitely recommend this tour. The bike shop is in a cool neighborhood with restaurants, cafes and coffee shops. Good options to grab a coffee before the tour and have lunch when you're back. There is street parking or a lot only about 2 blocks away. When you book, you will get an email asking for the names and heights of your riders so when you arrive, your bikes are already set up to take a quick spin and get a feel for them. Joe, our fantastic guide, was able to do any adjustments to make sure they felt great. They provide helmets, storage for anything you want to leave behind and give you a great water bottle for the bike that you get go keep. The bikes also have cargo bags for storing jackets or snacks. We did the classic bike tour. Before we left, Joe made sure to explain everything we were about to do - where we going, how to ride in the bike lanes, how to navigate the few streets where we would be riding with traffic... We travelled about 90%+ of the time in bike lanes and never road in any heavily traffic streets. Joe is a fantastic guide! Super friendly, personable, and knowledgeable about Philly. We were extremely lucky that only our family was riding that day which gave us a very personal tour! Joe is worth the price of the tour alone! As you ride, Joe, who is keeping an eye on you the whole time!, points out landmarks and places of interest. Being on a bike, you can really traverse neighborhoods you might otherwise skip. It was great to make stops and stretch your legs and get to see some really interesting sites up close - it is not all riding. You'll make pitstops along the way. If you have a small group like we did, you might be able to request some particular points of interest. It is a perfect amount of time. After going from river to river, you are back at the shop and free to grab lunch or go back and explore Philly further. We really enjoyed the tour and would consider one of their other options during a return trip. Enjoy the ride!

We had the pleasure of taking the tour with Joe. I would highly recommend this tour for several reasons. Joe was very personable, extremely knowledgeable, and made sure our group felt very safe riding through the city. He was attentive and enjoyed answering follow up questions. If you are in Philadelphia, this is a terrific way to see a lot of memorable sights.

Joe was an incredible guide and this was the perfect way to see the city AND learn about it's incredible history and culture! I've been to Philly a number of times but saw more in this tour than I have in any of my prior trips. Thank you so much!!

We had an incredible half day bike tour with Joe! After meeting at Fairmount Bikes and getting safely fitted with our comfortable bikes and meeting the friendly shop employees and using their clean bathroom, we headed out. Joe was so friendly and informative and we learned a ton about art, history and culture. As someone who has visited Philadelphia many times, it was awesome to see the city and learn so much! We had the best time and recommend Joe and the bike tour 10/10!

We had a truly incredible day doing a bike tour with Joe. First of all, Fairmount Bicycles has safe and reliable and comfortable bikes as well as friendly employees and a nice bathroom. We headed out with Joe to discover the best of the city with his amazing local knowledge. He was so fun to chat to and learn from. Having been to Philadelphia many times previously, I got to see a new part of the city and I learned a lot about art and culture and history. Highly highly recommend! Book with Joe!

Fun and informative bike tour! Joe and Matt are really knowledgeable about Philly and its history (histories). Their system for managing traffic and lane/direction changes made us feel very safe and well-taken care of, even in the midst of some hectic Center City traffic. Would absolutely do another tour with them again!

Today we did the Classic Philadelphia City Bike Tour with Joe. We had an amazing time! The weather was rainy and it was our choice to go ahead and enjoy the tour. All geared up with our own rain gear and the provided ponchos we were warm, dry and toasty the whole time. Joe was truly fabulous and incredibly knowledgeable. In addition to seeing the sites of Philadelphia, we learned so much about the history of each site. After we discussed where we had already been in Philadelphia, Joe did a great job "switching gears" and made some minor changes in the tour to avoid repeating sites. This tour was the highlight of our 3 day weekend!
