Extremely disappointed by this tour. Started the tour eating cold brunch and then were taken to a CHAIN restaurant. After that we spent about 45 minutes on a trolley so that our tour guide could show us a park... Not the best way to spend a hot day. Last two spots were OK but nothing special. I would recommend that if you want to get a feel for the Dallas food scene go ahead and just look around yourself.

Fabulous. Had a great time and enjoyed our guide. Even though I live in the Dallas area I learned something new and am aware as and appreciative of a new area to have lunch.

Two of my girlfriends from Oklahoma visited over a weekend in April and wanted to sample the food scene here in Dallas so we signed up for the West Village Food Tour. Our tour leader was Jim who worked 20+ years for the City of Dallas Planning and Preservation Department. Needless to say he was a wealth of information and was a fantastic guide. Our walk began at The Rustic for Sunday brunch samplings; then we took the historic McKinney trolley to Tacos & Tequila for more brunch samplings. From T&T we took the trolley to Baboush for fantastic Mediterranean small plates; and then wrapped up the tour with French macrons and pastries from Bisou Bisou. I cannot wait to make each of these (4) restaurants part of my weekend routine. In fact, I am having drinks this weekend at the historic Bowen House which I discovered on our walk throughout Uptown. The $60 spent on the tour was WELL WORTH it. I would do this same tour again if given the opportunity.

Had a great time walking and tasting 4 great restaurant in West Village area. Jim, our tour advisor was cordial and knowledgeable about history of the area and Dallas in general. Our out-of-town guest was equally impressed. This is a fun activity with out-of-town visitors. Definitely worth repeating.

My sister and I were able to book this tour when she visited. The booking process was easy and my contact was responsive. Our tour guide was personable and we got a chance to try restaurants that I've seen, but haven't been to yet. Definitely come hungry! This would be a fun event to do even if you live in Dallas. All the food was excellent and high quality. We also took the trolley frequently, so the walking was minimal. I would love to do another tour sometime!
