Ryan was an excellent tour guide . Knowledgeable , welcoming, funny , smart and the tour although two hours was an easy pace and very entertaining. This was the best value for money also. We completely recommend it .

This was one of the best tours I have been on ... and we do one on Day One of every city. Ryan was informative, fun and FUNNY. And a great story teller. Note: this was a great value price wise too! PS Ryan ... Frank says you forgot to do a group rendition of Patsy Cline's Crazy ... as you apparently promised? :)

I loved Ryan’s energy as he gave a very nice 2 hour walking ‘lecture’ of Downtown Nashville history. I highly recommend his tour.

Very good walking tour, you know when 2 hours go by so fast and you are disappointed that the tour is over. Our guide Ryan was excellent. His sense of humor, non-stop entertaining and informative stories and overall knowledge of Nashville history and current events kept us interested and entertained. Well worth the time for a first timer to Nashville.

Took the tour with Ryan. I take a lot of walking tours when I travel and usually take personal tours. For some reason we took an organized tour this time. Quite a few jokes on this tour, some good, some not so good. I am more about information and less about entertainment. Ryan has the information but I thought he was spending too much time making jokes. The tour stops were good - some on music, some on civil rights, some on the founding of Nashville, some on the civil war, pointed out some of the murals and their stories, some contemporary news. However, we got to stops and Ryan would start a story that looked like it was going to be informative and then he would make some jokes and never get back to the information. He pointed to a historical sign that talked about a lynching that took place and said we will come back to what happened but never did. Said we will talk about how Nashville got its name and again never came back to it. So, if you want a high brow informative tour I would suggest a private tour, but if you want low brow and some laughs this is fine.

Our group was small and so we were able to get lots of questions in AND our guide had the answers to those questions. The walk was pleasant and the guide was funny and fun.
