Immaculate trolley - outstanding tour guide who was extremely knowledgeable. Very detailed and interesting military historical tour of Myrtle Beach - as well as wonderful trip to Black museum which was a bonus! Humbling to learn the black educational history of Myrtle Beach area, taking place in the original one room school house that was used for many years.

Learning about German pow camp. Visit to the colored school. I found it interesting that the first issue of sports illustrated was printed in myrtle beach and cost 25 cents.

For those who are interested in history you will find an incredible researcher and tour leader in Kathryn Hedgepath. Kathryn doesn't merely lead the tour she captures the spirit of the times in her narration. She has personally researched the details of the trip distinguishing beliefs from facts. The stops are diverse and the untold history of Myrtle Beach is fascinating - with the stop at the Historic Myrtle Beach Colored School Museum a must in these times of heated political debate. A tour that both informs and makes you think about who is ally and who is enemy.

Our guide’s knowledge was exceptional! She keep the tour very interesting. Well worth your time and money.

We liked visiting some historical sites; the Colored School narrator was so passionate about the school, the people who influenced him and all of the kids who attended. I also remember sitting in desks like that when I attended a one-room school house in PA. Good visit! The info about WWII prisoners of war, their impact on local economy and their realization about USA was a great history lesson! The guide knew her stuff and we liked that.
