We had a great time out on the water with Capt. Brian. He has a lot of experience and local knowledge about the area. Our family of 5 went out to the Content Keys to paddleboard and snorkel. We would not hesitate to book a trip with him again!

This was our first ever visit to the Florida keys and Big Pine Key resort so we literally had no idea what to do or see. Captain Brian of Key Boat Tours took us an a wonderful trip to the Florida Keys back country off of Big Pine Key. The mangroves in the backcountry were amazing. He found a rarely visited spot on the protected side of a mangrove island where the water was calm and clear. We could see the wildlife clearly in the crystal waters. We observed many species of fish and wildlife that use safety of the mangrove as a nursery. The wildlife was clearly visible including barracuda and rays to name only a few. Our Captain also gave us extensive information about the recent hurricane that hit Big Pine Key and the Mangrove backcountry. He showed us some damage and also some rebuilding projects that are still in progress and the ones that are finished. Booking this trip was absolutely the best first thing to do as Florida Keys novices. It nicely set up our activities for the rest of our Keys visit. Captain Brain was extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife and the red mangrove trees but also about what to see and do in the lower keys. We took almost all of his recommendations about Key West in the days following, including where to park, where to eat, what to see and which sunset cruise Schooner to take. He also gave us a copy of his Lower Keys guide book which we take with us everyday. The book is marked up now with all the things we decided to do and see. We highly recommend going on any of Captain Brians tours. He was super kind, friendly and also patient with us and our many questions. Key Boat Tours and Captain Brian gave us an unique and memorable day on the waters off of Big Pine Key, We will definitely take tours with Key Boat Tours again when we return to The Keys.
