The experience of going to Mouse Creek Falls for our all day photo lesson was a great choice. Chris and Bonnie were clearly experienced in helping me find the right composition on the landscape scenes we came across. They were encouraging of me to find my own sense of beauty in composing a photo.

Looking Glass Falls was outstanding. We spent a little too much time in the forest looking at grasses. Chris was just great as a guide and photographer. He let me use his tripod to shoot the falls.

I had a wonderful day with Chris photographing the autumn colors, both vistas and waterfalls, Chris was an excellent guide and teacher. I don't shoot as often as I would like and hence have to be reminded of certain things. Chris was both knowledgeable and patient. He has a great eye and pointed out several things I would have missed. Book early because they will fill up!

First, my apologies for not posting sooner. I took the full day photography tour with Chris & Bonnie mid May, 2022. I have had my Nikon D3100 with a 28 to 300 mm lens for a long time. I used it primarily to point & shoot using limited automatic features of the camera. Chris was very patient teaching me the broader capabilities of the camera utilizing the manual settings. We additionally compared the photo's taken with the manual settings versus the automatic settings to see the enhancements that could be made. Photo's were taken of waterfalls, vista's & wild flowers along with Blue Ridge Parkway. Bonnie pointed out areas that I would have overlooked & assisted in framing the picture to yield the most interest. It was an enjoyable day stopping at multiple beautiful spots.

Off the beaten path waterfalls, a side trip to the historic forestry museum, a lovely sunset and an added treat of migrating monarchs made for a very full but wonderful day.

I had an excellent photography experience with Chris and Bonnie in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. They both have great patience for instruction, guiding, and explaining the technical side of photography; all helping to create an artistic image. Chris is a pro at critiquing images and offering guidance on composition, lighting, and post-processing techniques. I highly recommend their workshops to anyone interested in landscapes, waterfalls, and self-discovery through photography.

Wow! The most productive day ever of my photographic career ever and above and beyond that, it was a joy to be with Chris and Bonnie for the day. Not only are they both excellent photographers and teachers, but they have boundless energy and knowledge of the Asheville area. Had I tried to learn the basics of the area on my own it would have taken several trips vs up and running in just one day! We started well before dawn to get in position for some sunrise vistas, then we photographed several waterfalls, and finally, we shot a several different abstractions which are my favorites. I recommend the full day tour as it allows you to change locations and subjects a number times and get to know the area better. I learned a number of new techniques and came home with some great shots! I have taken a number of photographic classes and tours, but Chris and Bonnie's was by far the best.

Spent a great day with Bonnie and Chris on a Vistas and Waterfall tour. We found spots off the beaten trail which resulted in wonderful images. Bonnie and Chris were so helpful with their guidance and enthusiasm for the subjects. It was a fabulous day!
