Went on the 1 day George Washington and Old Town Alexandria tour and had Galen as our tour guide. My husband and I were the only ones who signed up so it ended up being a private tour, which was great. Galen was very accommodating afterwards, and dropped us off at the capitol, instead of back at the Shakespeare theater, saving us some time getting there on our own.

The trip to Mount Vernon and Alexandria was great. We got very lucky for not only we had a great driver and guide, Galen, but also we were the only passengers. Galen new his history, but also stepped back to give us time to explore on our own.
