Though it's now an academic building at NYU, restless spirits seem to still inhabit the site of one of our nation's worst industrial disasters over a century ago...

This tour was LIT (and educational) !!! I booked this for a friend visiting me in NYC. It was just her and I on the tour since we booked in the off-season (April). It was such a treat! Our tour guide was very engaging, personable, and funny, but he also managed to genuinely scare me and give me the heebie jeebies with all the sights he showed us and the scary tales he told. The tour was downright spooky!! It is a fun experience and I will definitely book another tour with them sometime in the future. I learned more about the city I live in and it made a great impression on my friend too!

An outstanding night walk around the Washington Square park area with the infamous professor Henry Clerval. Professor Clerval conveyed some of the famous ghost stories of the area in a pleasant, and extremely entertaining way. My wife, son and I had a great time sharing stories with the other students and the interactions with the professor. Going on Ghost Tours has become sort of a family outing when we go on trips, and this ranks among the best we have been on, informative, and entertaining, what more can you ask for. The next time we are in New York we will try one of the other tours offered.

We had such a great time! The guide was excellent and really made the entire tour. Our teenagers loved it and did not complain about walking or the cold because the tour was so fun. We loved the history and the ghosty stories. Excellent option for older teens and adults!

We had a cold night but we’re warmed with all of the conversation, questions answered, and an insightful history lesson of ghosts in a entertaining walk.

Prof Clerval was entertaining, well informed and a wonderful guide for our Greenwich Ghost tour. History included at no extra cost! Highly recommended - my 13 year old son says “I had the best time!”.

Excellent tour guide - Professor Clerval of Haunted Manhattan was so animated and fun. He was a wonderful story teller, and was equal amounts spooky and compassionate about the stories (some are very tragic!). There were tourists and locals on the tour, and everyone had a great time. I would 100% recommend this tour, well worth the time and money.

As a fan of Ghost/Paranormal Tours I, along with a few friends decided to take a tour of the Village and some of it’s haunted location on a beautiful November evening. The directions to the meeting spot were clear and precises which was a great sign of things to come! After our group met up and the introductions with fellow guests were made we started our stroll amongst the streets of the village. Our guide Professor Mortimer was a great story teller and had a quick wit about him which is always a bonus when it comes to tour guides. He was very funny and engaging and was happy to answer any questions that were asked by folks on the tour. What was really nice was that we spent the perfect amount of time at each location, some longer than others and those happened to be the ones that had a more serious story behind them, most notably being the Triangle Shirtwaste Factory Fire. Overall this was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend it to any one interested in ghosts or the history of that area of New York in general.

The Five Angles Tour is absolutely worth it. While the ghost stories may have been fewer than others, the history of the area is as fascinating as it is bloody, making for great stories told by our guide. The recognition of real historical injustices alongside the stories really helps balance the tour, helping fill out the whole history of NYC.
