A wonderfully enlightening and educational tour with Michael... thoroughly enjoyed it! Working with "troubled teens", this helped me get to grips with some of the struggles my LGBTQ+ teens may face. Brilliant tour - just do it! 🌈

Educational and engaging tour with Michael. He took us around the village and shared both emotional, cultural, and empowering stories about queer history. He answered our questions with insight and personal history. A wonderful two hours

Michael, our tour guide, was sooo nice, super knowledgeable, and extremely articulate. So much interesting information and it was cool to see such legendary landmarks! Michael expertly answered all questions in a respectful way and really was just a great host. The amount of walking wasn't bad at all, even in the heat, and the time flew by. It did not feel like 2 hours, and I wished there was time for more! Also LOVED seeing the LGBT Center!

I’ve lived in the neighborhood for a few years, however I still was able to learn so much from doing this tour! Michael is so kind and so knowledgeable about Queer history - his passion for the subject really shows.

I am a person who is very interested in non-traditional ways of exploring a city. I am not a hop-on-hop-off-bus kind of gal. So when a friend recommended this tour to me I was immediately interested. Michael was our tour guide and he was SO GREAT. I learned a lot about LGBT history in NYC and got to visit some important landmarks. Michael was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. Also - it was not a long walk, but Michael was very accommodating when I asked him if I could sit a few times (I have a bad back).

There’s nothing to question. Register for this walking tour, and spend a few hours walking the streets of Greenwich Village. I learned so much, and have been able to share with friends, who aren’t familiar with the history of the village.
Tip: Morning of, and forgot your coffee? There’s a cafe less than 4 min walk away.

This tour beautifully showcases the rich history of the village with the impact it has had on today's LGBTQ movement. Our tour guide, Michael, did an incredible job taking us back in time and holding our hand through the emotional highs and lows. Truly an experience we won't forget! Highly recommend!
