The crew were very friendly and knowledgeable about what fish we saw. I saw a baby shark, barracuda-black and silver, beautiful coral & lots of smaller fish. Fantastic trip!

We had the tour guides "H" and Aaron; they were awesome. Aaron was driving the boat while "H" told us all about what we might see, answered any questions, made us feel safe all while being entertaining. Afterwards they both gave us suggestions on where to go out to eat and other things to do during our trip. We had a fantastic time and saw a lot of different fish! Thanks from WI!

A great trip and worth the $$. Captain and First Mate were tops. We didn't engage with the Captain that much (he was busy driving the boat) but First Mate "H" was great. I particularly appreciated the tips he gave us about driving down to Key West (ie., leave early to beat the holiday traffic, stop at Lorelei for lunch (SPOT ON), watch your speed because the cops are out and the speeding tickets are pricey, even if you're only 5mph over the limit.) H also emphasized throughout the trip the fragility of the marine environment, and plucked a spent mylar balloon out of the water to demonstrate one way how all that micro plastic gets into the water and into turtle's bellies. While the reefs don't look all that healthy, they're not dead, as evidenced by the pretty abundant fish life in the two spots we went to. We saw lots of beautiful fish, some barracuda, and a stingray hiding iin the sand on the bottom (it's pretty shallow where we went). Others on the boat saw sharks, crabs, and maybe spiny lobster? And we were treated to dolphins jumping in our wake as we headed back. Although my adult child and I brought our own snorkel equipment, we decided to use what they gave us on the boat, which was in excellent condition, worked well, and was a bit more comfortable than what we own. If I ever get to the Keys again, I wouldn't hesitate to book Pirates Cove for something--maybe even a dive lesson!

Our first time snorkeling. My 14 year old daughter has really bad anxiety and was super nervous but Meg was super patient with her. The music was amazing. Only negative was several groups were late arriving and put us behind leaving. Aaron was super friendly and very outgoing.

I didn’t expect too much to be honest as someone I had talked to the day before was saying how it’s always the same to see some fish and I’ve done it a few times before… always enjoying it enough for the most part but they really gave great instructions where to possibly see the most - of course nothing is guaranteed - but it was a GREAT experience! I also saw a baby shark besides so many colorful fish of various shapes. And since it’s been a few years I really enjoyed it and the great temperatures there and it was really comfortable on the whole boat ride etc. GREAT COMPANY, really well organized and we will hopefully return there soon!!

My husband and I snorkeled with Pirates Cove Watersports during a May 2024 trip to Key Largo. This group is outstanding from start to finish. Easy reservations, questions answered, captain and boat staff amazing and attentive, and gear in great shape. Perfect for beginners and experienced snorkelers. This was our 8th trip to the Keys and we will be back, booking all our water sports with Pirate's Cove.

We had a great time. The captain and first mate were real pros. Everything went as excepted and better. They did a great job at explaining the do's and don'ts, and how to make snorkeling as enjoyable and safe as possible.

Captain Brad was terrific— funny and informative! Loved that it was a smaller boat with only 5 snorkelers.

Brad and "H" were a hoot! Such a fun pair. The reefs were amazing! Saw some incredible fish and the coral was beautiful. Highly recommend this tour.
