Recently my wife and I took a half day whale watching trip with discovery whale watch. Have to say an excellent trip with lots of wildlife observed including numerous birds, dolphins and humpback whales. The marine biologist was maddie who was very informative, helpful and enthusiastic. Also thanks to Jessie on deck who helped look after everyone and captain JJ who located the whales. Excellent trip 🤙

We had an amazing time on our tour, we saw so much sea life! Including 4 humpback whales. Our tour guide Isaiah was full of knowlodge, we learnt so much about the wildlife and even heard the whales on sonar. Would definitely recommend.

5.31.2024 booked a morning trip as we’ve heard that was the best chance to see whales. The trip did not disappoint! Saw several humpback whales, pacific white sided dolphins, otters, California sea lions and a northern fur seal (not to mention many birds). Crew was fantastic, really enjoyed the naturalist (Isaiah) on our trip. Isaiah had a wealth of knowledge and his passion for wildlife made our experience that much better. Will definitely be back the next time we’re in Monterey and will certainly try to get Isaiah as our naturalist again. Would highly recommend.

We did the morning tour for roughly 4 hours and we saw whales! Many in the distance but one time a mother and calf came really close to our boat, it was amazing. Our guide Isaiah provided interesting insights and said the chance of seeing whales on their trips is 99,6 % so I would definitely recommend.

The team was friendly, animated, and very much wanted you to have a memorable experience. Isaiah was great! I’d recommend a small craft ride like yours.

We had an amazing trip with Discovery Whale Watch. The captain and crew were professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and a lot of fun! The whale watching was exceptional that morning. We saw 7 orcas, 4 humpback whales, and a couple hundred white-sided dolphins. This was one of the best excursions we've been on in our many years of traveling as a family.

Thrilling journey with friendly and accommodating crew. Encounter whales, dolphins, and otters! Five stars ✨

Great info along with spectacular humpback viewing right next to our boat and all around us. A special day.

We started at 8.00 and saw very quickly a whale and her calf and also dolpfines. Then the fog came and our skipper decided to go more deeper in sea. We came into somany dolphins and whales and Albatros that we did not know where to look first. Because the crew and our host Sophie were so enthusiastic and we saw overwhelmingly many animals our trip lasted a lot longer. We were very fortunate. Thanks to everyone Leen Makis
