Meh, it was ok. No fault to Rosalinda who was a good tour guide. She had some humor and puns and good stories. It just wasn't a very spooky tour. You do not get into Whaley house on this tour, nor any of the other buildings, so we were disappointed. The website is slightly misleading and doesn't tell you that the museum is open for anyone to just go into during operating hours. We got there in the evening for the tour but would have been there earlier to do that. The cemetery part, again open to the public anytime day or night, was interesting and Rosalinda told some good stories. We were given divining rods, pendulums and EMF readers. No activity and EMF readers suspiciously don't pickup ANY signal (which even humans/phones emit a low frequency) so those seemed rigged. The one I picked up was going off in the box and stopped when I picked it up. But it was an amusing time killer, although I could have spent our $250 for the 5 of us on something better and just done our own research and walk. Getting INTO buildings makes a better tour. Old Town is a fun area. Get there around 2p and spend the afternoon shopping, eating, Whaley museum and then walk Heritage Park and the cemetery at sunset having done your research.

We did the 9 pm tour with Kat. She gave us fantastic historical information and kept the group super engaged. This was so much fun and a great family activity

Haunted Old Town. Just don't do it. I'm so bummed and disappointed. We only had 2 nights in San Diego and I feel so slighted to have lost one. No haunting. No humor. No stories. It was terrible

This was our first ghost tour and a great introduction. Kat and Berniece were fun and knowledgeable! We had kids with us and they enjoyed it as well!

The Heritage park and Old Town walking tour for the price of $140 for 3 kids and 2 adults for 90 minutes was not really great or spooky or worth it. There were only a few stories and hardly any walking. Lizzie was a pleasant guide and had some paranormal gadgets that she showed the kids but then we just read plaques on 2 cemetery tombstones and 4 buildings that she shined a flashlight on. There was at least more shareed about the Whaley house but it just could have been so much better. We heard more about the homeless vandals than history:(

Kat was an amazing tour guide. She explained the history of the houses throughly. She took her time in answering questions. Kat had easy going personality, made everyone feel welcomed. We captured in our pictures many haunting sightings and felt their presence too. WE ARE PLANNING IN RETURNING SOON!

So so awesome. My friend and I wanted to do something unique for Halloween this year, so we decided to try this tour, and we had SUCH a good time. Our ghost host Leandra was absolutely perfect - so fun and hilarious - and had us captivated from the moment she started the tour. We are definitely planning on checking out the other tours this company offers. Thank you for such a great night!!!

Loved the history and the houses in Heritage Park but spent too much time there and thought we would get to go into the Whaley House which I was very disappointed the tour did not include even though somewhere I read it would be an additional $7 for that portion to tour - when we asked about that price to do the Whaley House tour was told the normal fee of $23/pp would apply 🤨 very misleading in the description of the tour in my opinion. Most interesting story I heard was about Yankee Jim.
Bernice was a great tour guide however some felt the stories were possibly embellished to add a dramatic effect.
