Guide was friendly, knowledgeable, excellent driver. Had lots of trivia abut area and alaska in general. Made interesting comparisons between Alaskan features and I other features in the lower 48 and around the world. Was patient making sure folks could l Keep up. And picked a nice place for a delicious lunch.

I took this hike solo while my husband was on a work trip, I am so glad I did! So convenient , they pick you up and drop you off at your hotel. Bill was an amazing guide with tremendous knowledge of the area and glacier. It was a gorgeous day with new snowfall. The glacier is breathtaking, it felt like you were on a different planet. The silence and serenity is indescribable, breathtaking! The restaurant for lunch was great! I would highly recommend this tour!

Views were spectacular! Great variation of things to see on glacier. Bill was a great guide! Lots of knowledge of anchorage and glaciers. Included lunch was also a nice touch. Would highly recommend!

The tour is amazing! Our guide is Bill. He is professional and knows a lot to the glacier. The beautiful weather makes the scenery even more surprising! The only flaw is the lunch included is just not bad not good…but you can have a good view in the restaurant.

A highlight of our Alaska trip, an excursion that we hope to do again, it was truly an amazing day on the glacier:) Our guides Bill and Dawn were fantastic, a lot of passion, knowledge and respect for this beautiful place. We had a great time on the glacier and then a delicious meal with our small group at a lodge overlooking the glacier. Although it was gloomy in Anchorage when we left, the sun was shining 2 hours north east from it and casting beautiful light on the glacier. The hike itself is easy, the crampons provided are just perfect to ensure a safe walk. Highly recommend this activity, it’s probably a rare place where you can access a glacier easily from a road, and without having to be an skilled mountaineer to experience this beautiful icy landscape. Thanks again Bill & Dawn!

Breathtaking! It was our first time to Alaska and the views took my breath away. No matter which way you turned, there was something magnificent to see. Bill and Matt were our guides and were so knowledgeable and fun! We drank glacier water that tasted delicious. Lunch was at Long Rifle Lodge where the food and employees were delightful. We are seriously thinking of coming back in the summer to do this tour again with a different experience (but with Bill and Matt).

Starting with the tour guide, he was wonderful. I was traveling with wife and 2 kids and he was always smiling, patient, adaptive and helpful. 5 stars. Second, talking bout the tour itself, I must say it is simply the best. I have traveled a lot, and been in different places (China Wall, Niagara, Florence, Rome, Kyoto, Volcanoes, etc) and I MUST say that this is the best natural experience of my life. No other National Park beats this one. Feels like you are in a different planet, full of natural beauty. If I would do just ONE thing in Anchorage, this would be the one. Don't miss it. You HAVE to go with a tour, the park administration doesn't let you go by yourself for safety reasons, so don't try to save money.

My girlfriend and I did this tour with Bill and Dawn. We had a fantastic time, and highly recommend it. I had never seen a glacier before and was not sure what to expect myself to expect, but it totally blew us away! The lunch was also great at Long Rifle Lodge, near the glacier. Bill and Dawn were also very informative, so we learned a lot!

This was one of the hidden gems of our trip! Misty our guide was a total sweetheart and was kind a gracious towards our unique photo requests. The amount of the actual glacier you get to see is truly breathtaking! We weren’t expecting to be able to see so much of it, but ended up spending two hours out on the glacier. The guides are super knowledgeable and the glacier was one of the most beautiful sights we saw during our stay!
