I am so glad it was rainy while I was there....the water on the trees really showed off their texture more. It is well worth taking the time to visit!!! I got to see a very large banana slug too!!!

This is a wonderful trip, Robert our driver was so friendly and informative. He was a great driver too. The Mercedes Sprinter Van was very safe and well maintained, very clean too. Going over the Golden Gate Bridge was on my list forever and a prayer answered with no “Carl the fog” lol! We stopped on the other side for pictures and a bathroom break. Robert was great at his intervals to give people time for breaks along the way. Muir Woods was simply beautiful and pictures will not give these Giant Redwoods the honor and awe they deserve. You must see these with the greatest camera God gave us; our own eyes! They are a different from the Sequoias at Yosemite’s Mariposa grove area tho just as enormous. In Yosemite they grow singularly, at Muir Woods this species grows in pods and communicate thru their root system beneath the ground. The walkway and the way the park is set up is very friendly for those willing to step out of their box and just take a moment in life to absorb the beauty of Muir Woods, simply magnificent! Some really nice gift shops to remember your visit by in the park too! Something for everyone for sure! Sausalito was our next stop and very beautiful. Great place to walk around grab a bite and shop on the way back to San Francisco. Loved the views and it was very clean and well maintained the towns people care about their town and like the people to come and support them. Our last stop was the fine arts building and I believe it turned to rubble in the earthquake way back and the townsfolk rebuilt this beauty back to the original if not better then the original. Such a peaceful place to get some rest and relax a bit and to take pictures before heading back to the beautiful city by the bay San Fransisco. Make time to do this trip you will be enlightened and refreshed within your spirit for sure and glad you did!

Awesome trip to Muir woods, highly recommend if you’re just wanting to check out the park for a short time. I thought Sausalito was beautiful as well, recommend lunch by the water. Robert the guide was funny and very informative, and enjoyed listening to his stories. The van was comfortable, on the smaller side but no problems. The drive there is also beautiful ☺️

I had a really great experience. First, my trip got pushed back to the later time, but Faycal was super communicative and informative. He was super flexible and the driver/tourguide Robert was so accommodating picking me up in Union Square. I enjoyed how we were able to learn so much information from Robert and go off on our own for a little. Super rewarding and worth it!

Great tour and truly small group. Robert was a fantastic driver, informative and entertaining. Muir Woods was a must see for us and we were not disappointed. The time in Sausalito could be a bit longer but I guess they do not mind if you stay and take the ferry or Uber back.

Wunderful woods with these enormous trees, a murmuring creek and an air so fresh and aromatic you could sell it in bottles :) I would have liked to stay much longer and to explore more of the trails, but the clock was ticking. We went on Friday afternoon so the Woods were very crowded - If you can get there on your own, choose a time when the rest of the world has to go to work/school. Our Tour.Guide Robert gave us a lot of background information, that was great too. I get easily car.sick, but the curvy drive was no problem. In Sausalito I really liked the view back to SF.

Absolutely loved this tour! Our guide Katya was amazing and added so much to the experience, sharing so much history and offering great tips as we ventured into the woods and out in Sausalito. Was truly the perfect afternoon!

Elise_K

Wonderful tour. Katya was very knowledgeable. Got a lot of local history and the stops were just right—although a little more time in Sausalito would have been super!

We had a great time on the tour to Muir Woods. Our driver/guide, Ben, was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us a lot of information as we drove to our destinations. The Woods were beautiful and peaceful and we were able to enjoy them without feeling rushed. Sausalito is a cute little area and it was fun to walk around & get lunch. All in all it was a lovely way to spend the afternoon!

Muir Woods is breath taking and everyone should go! It’s a peaceful place where all your stress goes away. Our guide for the tour was very friendly, patient, and was very knowledgeable, he made our trip very fun!
