The stories the chef shared during the demonstration were interesting and informative. My husband and I enjoyed this class. Being able to watch the chef prepare the food and then eating it was well worth the cost.

Pros. The cooking demonstration was informative and interesting and he had a wealth of knowledge on Louisiana and how the cooking style morphed from other countries into what it is now. Cons. The instructor made sexual innuendos which was amusing to 1 particular table but it was very uncomfortable for me and my table mates and as I looked around at other participants, I could tell by eye contact and their expressions that they were feeling ill at ease as well and it was certainly not appropriate and in the business world it is considered “ sexual harassment”. Although the instructor was very informative and created very good food, his assertive nature bordered a bit confrontational side. The first “con” can be remedied with a bit of coaching but can’t be undone, the 2nd one is just his personality it seems.

This was a highlight of our trip! Pat the woman conducting the glass is a first class chef with humour and great history lessons tossed in for flavour. If our class was this good the hands on would 5+!! The actual meal was excellent and you won’t need to eat again for awhile. The shopping is fun after too! This will satisfy any foodies in your group but it is just a good time or time well spent. PS Thank You Pat!

The chef/instructor (Michael) and his wonderful stories really made the class special. And the meal was wonderful, too!
