The tour company and Brian our driver were great. The tour inside the plantation was lack luster and. Rather boring. The plantation is beautiful. I wish I would have picked another plantation to visit. Loved crescent city tours. The swamp Boat tour is a must! Don’t skip it! The extra money is worth it

The grounds are beautiful and the nearly 200 year old oak trees magnificent. Songbirds are perched in some of the trees and it seems idyllic. Yet, the slaves quarters are a stark contrast. When you see how slaves were forced to live compared to life for their masters in their splendid mansion, it might leave you with a loss for words. We can't erase history and can only endeavor to learn from it. It was a very worthwhile experience. Bryan was our bus driver and he was fun and informative. I highly recommend this tour.

Very disappointing. Albeit the front entrance way with all the oak trees is indeed beautiful, the rest of the exhibit is all redone. Hardly anything original in the main house and everything outside is redone.. Even if they charged half it would still be a tourist trap.

I prolapsed to my girlfriend on the walkway up to the big house. It was truly a memorable experience that will last a lifetime.

The mansion was mediocre. No ones fault, it's just that I have been to more grandiose mansions. Tippecanoe Place, the Oliver Mansion and the Biltmore. My expectations were high. I thought it would be opulent and dripping in Southern charm like Tara.

It was a great experience! Driver Brian kept us entertained! Plantation is beautiful and the trip was managed well.

The tour was very disorganized. I signed up for the Oak Alley plantation tour and was expecting to get a guided house tour with free time to walk around the grounds. Instead, the driver/guide dropped us off at the Whitney Plantation with no directions and we only had a bathroom break at Oak Alley. Super disappointed.

Beautiful place to visit - try the freshly made praline in the shop. CHECK YOUR VIATOR CONFIRMATION CAREFULLY- if you do not confirm with the provider via phone they will NOT BOTHER PICKING YOU UP. Be warned the Driver WILL go in a bad mood if you do not tip him

A long bus ride (50 min) made very enjoyable by the awesome bus driver Brian. Made the trip there and back seem like it was only a few minutes. The plantation house tour is done by oak alley. The house is beautiful and very interesting. The tour is quite large (about 20 people). And they have the tours back to back. No wandering allowed. You will have time to catch a quick lunch at the cafe which is very good. Then back on the bus with The Great Brian (he really was great) to drop off swamp tour people. If not he will drop you back off at your starting point. Well worth the trip.

Our transporter, Brian, was very entertaining and fun. He had a lot of knowledge about the Plantations. In fact, he was way more entertaining than the tour guide at Oak Valley.
