Booked months in advanced. Received almost immediate contact to organise difficulty of hike following booking. Day before scheduled hike I messaged the guide to confirm pick up time with no response. We were at the pick up location 30 minutes before time mentioned in description and 25 minutes afterwards. Still have had no contact from tour guide. I have requested a full refund but it has not been processed yet.

My mother and I booked this excursion months in advance and we were very excited. The tour guide got in touch with me months before to confirm the type of hike. The day before the hike, I hadn’t received any message confirming time and place is pickup, so I texted through TripAdvisor and to the cell number provided to confirm and got no response. I texted through both ways of communication very early the morning of the hike and still no response. This is a private tour so very odd. My mom and I waited all morning dressed for a hike and eventually just gave up and tried to make the best of the day, as we were going back home the next day. This company approved a full refund, but it has been a few days and I have still not received any response back or a simple apology from this company.

Luca was an amazing guide! I highly recommend this tour. He knows every hike on the island, and we asked for a strenuous but amazing beautiful ridge hike. It was perfectly amazing! One of the best hikes I’ve ever been on. Then we went sight seeing around different parts of the island we hadn’t seen. He’s so friendly and has wonderful stories of his adventures around the world. We had a great day. ❤️

My spouse was busy for one of the days we were in Hawaii and I found Luca while looking for a private guide who could suggest a less-crowded route and lead me on a hike so I didn’t have to spend hours choosing a path on AllTrails, find safe parking for a rental and go solo in a new place. I’m so glad I went with him! The route he suggested was great— we only saw a few other hikers. He was a pleasant companion on the hike and his pre-hike communication was excellent— he let me know the weather was less than ideal for the date we’d chosen and gave me good sense of what to expect when we chose to go forward. If I’m ever back in Oahu, I’m definitely going on another hike!

Luca was an excellent guide and took care of our 2 younger children during our Crouching Lion hike to make sure they had a great time. The view did not disappoint! He kept an eye on the weather for us and advised us of potential incoming rain in the hiking area the day before our scheduled tour. It was the right call and we successfully re-scheduled for a different day. Mahalo for staying flexible with the weather and our schedule, Luca! Once we hit top of the trail, Luca pulled out his drone, recorded our family from the air and sent us the footage afterwards. Luca, I understand this is not something you advertise as a service as there are many factors involved to make this happen, including weather conditions. However, please know that we appreciate this very much and it is a memory our family will keep forever. I would definitely recommend this company if you would like a tailored hiking tour that offers a more personal touch to the experience.

This was the most incredible adventure and experience in Hawaii! Luca is one of the best guides and what an amazing day. If you want to experience the real Hawaii and something different then I could not recommend Luca more. I have hiked all over the world and Luca is up there with the best guides ever. What a wonderful experience!

Luca has been prompt and courteous answering all my emailed questions. My guide, Sky, was on time, and did a great job the entire drive and hike. He also answered all my questions, and as a Hawaii native, provided me with pertinent local information. On our 4.9 mile hike up to the Puliouou Ridge and back, Sky pointed out sights from the viewpoints and was always helpful and courteous the whole day. He is a super good guy and guide. For anyone interested in hiking, I strongly recommend going with them.

This tour was the highlight of our time on Oahu, thanks to our tour guide Sky. After a week of tour bus tours in which every stop dropped off in a gift shop, it was an awesome experience to do something different and really be able to take in the beauty of the island. Sky was extremely knowledgeable about the island and was educating us on the various plants and wildlife we were seeing on our route. He also made sure to point out the best picture spots for us. I would highly recommend this tour and we will definitely book them for a different route whenever we come back.
