Luis was an amazing guide! He was so knowledgeable about the history of San Antonio and gave great recommendations! Luis was also extremely flexible and accommodating to our schedule! Would definitely recommend taking a tour with him!

Luis was very personable and accommodating to three people who were not picked up at hotels. We waited for one couple at a parking garage who were late and met one man at the Alamo, which was supposed to be our last stop. While waiting, Luis told us about the Alamo and the area surrounding it, which was under construction. Then we went to see two of the missions on our schedule, but not the Cathedral and he dropped us off at the Alamo at the end of the time allotted for the tour, with a suggestion not to go inside as there was very little left to see and the line to get tickets was very long. We were left to make our own way back to the hotel. One of the reasons I book tours like this is to avoid the ticket lines as the tour operator normally gets tickets for the group ahead of time. It was disappointing not to see the Cathedral or the other mission on the schedule, but I think it was caused by Luis wanting to be accommodating to some members of the tour and then running out of time for the complete tour. He was very knowledgeable about the places we did see.

tour guide very knowledgeable and engaging However we didn't get to the King William Historic District and Market Square, or San Fernando De Bexar Cathedral as advertised.

Stewart was great- kept it light, interesting, and gave us a nice balance of history and the current scene. March and April are a great time to do this tour. Runs about 4 hours and most of it is at Riverwalk level where it’s cooler.
