This is our second time in 8 years taking this tour of the Castro with Kathy and this time was equally as amazing as the previous. A truly impassioned tour guide providing local knowledge and history in a no-nonsense manner. Kathy is friendly and takes a genuine interest in her tour companions. The tour is a must do whenever visiting San Francisco.

We were visiting San Francisco for just a few days and were curios to find out more about LGBTQ history in the city, in particular the Castro district, so famous for queer culture. We met up easily with Kathy and the small group we would walk with and we were honestly blown away by the tour. Kathy is so passionate and knowledgeable about the history of the community we learnt so much. And being a small group we all got to share our own stories (the group members that day were from all over the world). Getting a chance to see a part of the original quilt from the AIDS epidemic, and many other significant sights, was quite moving. Highly recommend this tour to any visitor wanting to learn and grow as an individual! 10/10

Interesting tour through this wonderful district with a pretty cool tour guide. Thank you very much for teaching the importance of being visible and demanding our rights!

Excellent tour. Really informative and emotional at times. Definitely worth it and would recommend to anyone wanting to learn about San Francisco’s LGBT history, dating back to the Gold Rush of the 1800’s!

Great tour of the Castro and all it's history! Kathy did an amazing job of bringing the history, culture and biology of the LGBTQ+ community. A very pleasant stroll through the neighborhood highlighted by Harvey Milk and other community contributions. Definitely recommend!

Excellent tour. I had good experiences more than expected. Kathy, tour guide leaded us with so much passion and love. Thank you.

I had an absolute ball with Kathy who provides an informative talk and tour of the Castro district. She is highly involved with the community and welcomes conversation with guests. If you are a touchy conservative, this tour might not be for you, but if you want to learn about the largest LGBTQ+ community in the USA (maybe the world?), this is a great tour to take!

We came to San Francisco during Pride Month to celebrate my fiancé's graduation and because I have always wanted to visit the Castro. We booked this tour last minute as our first excursion of the trip, and it was absolutely phenomenal. We came on the tour with two of our older lesbian friends, and each of us took something different away from this tour. Kathy was so knowledgeable and funny. I would recommend this to anyone interested in LGBT history or wanting to learn more about America's first gayborhood. Kathy also gives out coupons to the GLBT History Museum, which was a great perk since it was on our to-do list! We went the following day and had a great time.

We were very satisfied by this tour. Kathy (the guide) manage the sense of entertaining with a hint of irony. The tour's content was highly relevant.

Kathy was a wonderful tour guide and historian of the Castro neighborhood. So much history went on here that you probably aren't aware of. It isn't just a neighborhood tour, its a walking history tour.
