Absolutely wonderful art work throughout, if you like contemporary art. We were in awe by their amazing 6th floor which featured modern German artists. Terrific collection of about 8 Anselm Kiefers, as well as others. A real surprise was this German woman artist who did this outstanding series of photos about fans for featuring about 6 music groups like the Grateful Dead, Abba, Britney Spears--so interesting how that came about. We weren't impressed with their sculpture gallery--was expecting so much more. Rreally enjoyed their 2nd floor, which is free to the public. Some really terrific pieces in there. Don't miss this one!

25 USD gets you into what is probably the best museum in town. We spent over 2 hours enjoying the modern art displays throughout the museum, which vary from stunning to bizarre. Skip the Grace restaurant in the museum, as it's expensive and the food isn't great.

We loved it we learned so much and stopped at every piece I'm an artist myself so I showed my partner which pieces I love and why and he did the same for me. The food was good just wish there was more of it but it was to be expected. Loved the museum as a whole!

SFMOMA was absolutely gorgeous to walk through. I particularly enjoyed the 5th floor because of its interactive nature and it made you reflect while enjoying the scene.

A great afternoon with family. I would recommend this for an afternoon out. We loved seeing all of the exhibitions and different art styles.

The museum has a modern design, and is located nearby the W hotel. It has a total of seven floors, each having about 60 or so modern artworks. Floor 1 and 5 both have a cafe, and floor seven has a terrace.

We traveled on a rainy weekend, so this was perfect for us--much to see, there is also a restaurant on site as is a coffee shop. Tickets were reasonable as was the price for parking. We strolled through the museum leisurely for 6 hours, there is much to see. Museum is located downtown, in a 6-story building, and parking is underground-arrive early because it does get crowded.

Besides the art shown at the complex, I really loved the concept and architectural style of the Museum. A must visit while in town.
