This was such a great tour! It combined history, nature, lots of great kayaking, and the peaceful mangroves. Our guide, Stefan, was fantastic! He was super knowledgeable about Sarasota history, was funny and engaging, and patient with the less experienced kayakers in our group. This tour was unique and different than other tour companies offered. There is more open water kayaking and less time in the mangroves with this one than another company we used, but I enjoyed the variety of this one more. I highly recommend!

Our tour guide, Kelly, was amazing! Had the best time with the family. Would recommend to anyone wanting to have a great time. Even if you do not have any kayaking experience they will teach how to maneuver in the tunnels.

We rented two double kayaks for a private two hour trip through the mangrove tunnels and the bay. Jacob was the BEST guide ever!! He was funny and instructive—so helpful! We saw starfish, sea urchin, crabs, jelly fish and manatee. Simply amazing!! Highly recommend!! Thanks Jacob!!

This was a great morning activity. Our guide, Stephen, was awesome. He had so much knowledge of the area’s history and wildlife. Learned lots about all of the birds we saw, we watched a dolphin in the bay and saw jellyfish, starfish and tiny lil black mangrove crabs. We paddled through mangrove tunnels. It was relaxing and very educational. Loved it.

We saw manatee right away. They were beautiful. Jeff was informative about them. We moved in to to learn a bit more about the ecology in Sarasota & some history. Jeff was great & took us to some of the most beautiful spots. Highly recommend! ♡

The tour guide's comedy routine started as soon as we arrived, It was a great tour, we saw dolphins and upside down jellyfish. Several "rest stops" combined with historical and ecological facts. The mangroves are well maintained, parking is great, bathrooms available (on land only). Dave made a point to engage each paddler and made the trip enjoyable. No sharks!

If you get the chance book the tour! Not only are the sites just gorgeous, but we got to hold some of the sea creatures. Kinsey our guide scoped out the water until he found manatees for us to see. The kids and I had a blast. We will definitely book again on our next vacation. Thank you guys so much for an unforgettable adventure.

My husband, almost 4-year old daughter, and I went on a guided 2-hour mangrove tunnel tour. We had 1 tandem kayak (me and my daughter) and 1 single kayak. Kenny was our guide, and he was very knowledgeable about the area and the science of the mangroves. At the start of the tour, he took us to different stops in Sarasota Bay to look for manatees and dolphins (we weren't lucky enough to see any) and commented on the different types of seabirds (e.g., black pelicans) that were in the water around us. The birds kept coming right up to the boats, which was so cool. The wind was really whipping, so rowing the tandem kayak by myself against the wind was a pretty good workout. Just FYI if you're in this situation. We saw really cool jellyfish in the inlet area just outside the mangrove tunnels. The mangrove tunnels were amazing--an entire ecosystem that was so cool to experience. We saw fish, crabs, starfish, sea urchin, and more. Kenny pointed out any cool wildlife and mangrove types and shared more info about them. The info he shared was a nice mix of science and history. We went in 3 tunnels on the tour. The first was really calm and easy to paddle and stop to check out different sights. We paddled against the current in the second one. It was still really fun, but a bit more difficult to stop and check things out. This was a great experience, and I'm so glad that we booked this! My daughter said how much she loved it too. A word of advice--you will be walking in the water to get in and out of the kayaks, so wear water shoes or other shoes that can get wet because they will definitely get wet. Also, there was a life vest available for my daughter, but we had already brought our own.

We had a great time! Dave was entertaining and full of fun facts. He kept us laughing the whole time. Saw the flip of a manatee tail, cormorants who swam under our boats, sea stars, and urchins. It was very cool! Would definitely recommend!
