Your Itinerary

Diamond Head State Monument

Our initial stop takes us to an elevated viewpoint nestled on the eastern slopes of the renowned Diamond Head Volcano in Waikiki. This vantage point provides an excellent opportunity to capture stunning photographs of Oahu's southeastern coastline, offering panoramic views that extend to notable landmarks such as Hanauma Bay and, on clear days, even as far as Maui. Familiarly referred to as the Aviator's Vista, this location carries historical significance as the site where spectators gathered to witness Amelia Earhart embark on her pioneering first solo aviation journey from Hawaii to North America.

Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve

(Pass by)

Hanauma Bay is a stunning and iconic natural bay located on the southeast coast of the island of Oahu. It is a well-known tourist destination and a popular spot for snorkeling and swimming. The bay is formed within a volcanic crater, which has since been eroded by ocean water, creating a beautiful and sheltered crescent-shaped beach. *We do not stop at Hanauma Bay

Halona Blowhole

Marvel at the natural wonder created by molten lava tubes from Oahu's Koko Head crater at the Halona Blowhole. This unique formation, resulting from volcanic eruptions, sends water shooting through a narrow opening in the lava tube, creating a captivating Hawaiian geyser when the surf is just right.

Makapu'u Point

(Pass by)

Embarking on the path to Oahu's windward side, prepare to be captivated by the breathtaking drama of Waimanalo's sea cliffs at Makapu’u Point. Let the deep sapphire waters unfold before your eyes, and as you gaze upon the seascape, behold the allure of Oahu's Manana Island, famously named Rabbit Island for its enchanting contours resembling a whimsical rabbit against the backdrop of the ocean's indigo expanse.

Tropical Farms (The Macadamia Nut Farm Outlet)

After a picturesque drive along Oahu’s eastern coastline, delight in a one-of-a-kind tasting experience at a distinctive macadamia nut shop nestled beneath towering Banyan Trees. Immerse yourself in the distinct flavors of exquisite Kona coffee, relish the richness of macadamia nuts, and succumb to the allure of Hawaiian chocolates, all within the tropical charm of this unique find.

Mokoli’i Island

Immerse yourself in the scenic wonders of Chinaman’s Hat, or Mokoli’i, harmoniously framed by the majestic Kualoa Valley Mountain range. Renowned for its cinematic splendor showcased in iconic films like Jurassic Park, this island earned its moniker from the straw hats worn by Chinese immigrants toiling in Oahu’s sugar plantations during the early 1900s. As you absorb the panoramic beauty, envision the historical tapestry woven into this landscape and appreciate the island's unique blend of natural allure and cultural history.

Fumi's Kahuku Shrimp

Take a break for lunch at a local restaurant, offering the renowned North Shore Garlic Shrimp plate and other local delicacies. Non-shellfish and vegetarian options are available, and don't forget to bring cash for lunch.

Kahuku Farms

Visit a North Shore tropical fruit stand, where you can savor ice-cold coconuts, fresh mangos, and other tropical treats. This delightful stop offers a refreshing array of locally sourced fruits to enhance your journey through the vibrant flavors of Hawaii.

Banzai Pipeline

(Pass by)

Escape the crowds and experience the serenity of Sunset Beach on the North Shore. This picturesque Hawaiian beach offers tranquility, though during winter months, witnesses impressive swells ranging from 30 to 40 feet from the safety of the shore. *Stop dependent on road conditions & driver discretion due to high surf Oct - Jan.

Waimea Botanical Gardens, Oahu

Immerse yourself in the extraordinary botanical collections at Waimea Valley. Explore diverse gardens featuring flora from various parts of the world, including the Ogasawara Islands, Central and South America, Fiji, Guam, and the Mascarene Islands. Wander through the Hawaiian collection, showcasing rare and endangered plants brought to Hawaii from their places of origin. Don't miss the captivating waterfall in the garden, where swimming is allowed, and lifeguards are present. Life jackets are required. *Admission is included ***WAIMEA VALLEY IS CLOSED MONDAYS SEP - MAY ***

Admission Included

Dole Plantation

This stop is designed for us to briefly stop for souvenirs and an authentic Dole Whip ( Dole pineapple soft serve ice cream)! You can't get this treat unless you also visit Disney Land or Disney World (don't be fooled by the imitation products throughout Waikiki). *No Train ride or Maze activities, Dole Whip not included*

Multiple options for tour buses. Now I understand why this has the most reviews. Noah the tour guide knew his stuff and explained all the sites.

Really enjoyed most of it. Noah, the guide was really engaging and interesting. My one resevrvation, and this is probably just me, because most of my fellow travellers seemed to relish it, was that there was a little too much 'shopping experience'. Regardless, the island is phenomenally beautiful and the tour gave me an opportunity to see large parts of it.

Great trip with Paul! He was awesome and the highlight for me was hearing the history of Hawaii. The waterfall was beautiful and we made multiple stops to take gorgeous photos! Fully recommend this tour! Thanks Paul for an amazing day!

Honestly it felt really rushed every stop, I still had a great time but I wish we had more time. I feel like we got done a hour earlier, by the time we got to the waterfall we only had a good 20 mins till we had to go back down the hike. The chicken was REALLY REALLY good though and our guide was very knowledgeable.

We had a wonderful day, we wish we would have had more time. Our guide Robert was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed our tour

I thought this would be a fun way to see the island with other people. Unfortunately, it fell much below my expectations. It definitely was nice to get out of Waikiki and see some more sights. However, our tour guide didn't have us introduce ourselves to each other (even though he said he would) and didn't allow for natural interactions that I was hoping for. As a solo traveler, no one spoke to me, which I was bummed about. Further, we skipped some stops (such as the fruit stand) that were promised on the description, and added others that weren't on here (but also I didn't want to stop at, such as a second macadamia nut outlet even though we already stopped at one). If you weren't in the first two rows, it was really hard to hear the guide, and he wouldn't listen to your opinion. Also, he didn't give us helpful instructions for what was coming next. For instance, it would've been helpful to know that the next stop was the waterfall, that we'd be there for 1.5 hours, and that we wouldn't have access to the bus again--if I knew that, I would've reapplied my sunscreen before I left it in the bus. ALSO, the website doesn't tell you, but there is a chance you won't get to swim in the waterfall, which was a huge draw for me. Rather than making any accommodations, the tour guide just basically said it wasn't his fault. I understand that, but it would've been nice if there were back-up options rather than essentially saying "too bad." Overall, I would not recommend.

The tour guide did a wonderful job giving us so much information about Oahu. It was a great trip. The falls & gardens were very beautiful. All the scenery along the way was breathtaking. So glad we took this tour.

We had a great time on this tour. We saw a lot of the Oahu island highlights. Our tour guide, Ha-o, was very knowledgeable.

Very nice way to see the high points of the island in a day. Our driver (Ian) was excellent and went out of his way to make sure that everyone had a good time! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it

If you want to see fast many interesting places without renting a car, reading guide and doing all navigation by yourself - this is the trip for you. Mini Bus came on time to do all pick ups, our small group was well organized so each stops we left on time. Between stops Noah (the guide) explained everything with great details including historical, spiritual and economical aspects of the specific place. Lunch (have $18 cash per person ) was excellent (verity of shrimps or chicken meals). I enjoyed the trip.
