Awesome walking tour with DC history and donuts! Avery was our guide and she was knowledgeable and fun! We have young kids(4,6) and too much history can get boring for them BUT Avery managed to include all the info and keep it light for the littles. Also she took some of the best family pictures of our trip! If you like walking/food tours do not hesitate to book this one!

I've never been disappointed with Viator tours but this one exceeded my expectations. The tour guide, Jimmy was more than excellent providing obscure but interesting historical facts along with incredible donuts of all varieties. We had a beautiful day and lots of steps and a very full stomach. I quarantine that you will be very satisfied. This tour is for anyone, local and tourist!

Avery was our guide and she was great! She was loud so we didn’t have to struggle to hear her, she was full of cool facts and history, and she gave us tips on stuff to see and places to eat during our visit. The donuts you try are fantastic and truly “underground” selections that will make you want to return for more. This is a very fun way to learn more about DC and discover delicious donuts (donut history also included!)

Absolutely unique gem of a tour!! A beautiful walk by some really cool historical buildings and locations, with a ton of great information on the history of D.C. My husband and I have been living in the area for about four years now, and were excited to learn about some lesser-known treats from a true expert: we were not expecting to learn so much about the area and American history! Had an incredible time, ate some of the best (if not THE best) fried baked goods of my life... 10/10 tour by Jimmy!

I am unbelievably full of both decadent donuts and local DC history. Jimmy gave a great tour and was clearly knowledgeable about both the best donut stops and really interesting local history

We had a great time. Avery was terrific. The donuts were delicious. My 9 year old had the sugar rush of his life.

I live in MD and wanted a little get away for my bday weekend so we headed to DC. While looking for fun things to do I saw the walking donut tour! We've done one I'm chicago so I couldn't wait to try one here! It was lots of fun, laughs, yummy donuts. Avery was our tour guide. She was awesome. Tons if fun! Loved it.

We went to Washingtin DC for 2 days. This is not much time for how much we wanted to see. We went to the American History Museum and walked the circle of monuments. I have 2 hints. The first is take the curculator bus. It saves some walking and is only $1.00. It takes you around the mall area and to other stops in DC. Look it up online for info. The hotels were expensive so we stayed in Maryland and took the green line of the Metro in to see the sights. We even took the metro from Ronold Reagan Airport to the Holiday Inn Express. They had a van that picked you up at the Metro stop. The Metro was inexpensive and so easy to use. It's hard to find food around the mall. There was a great Asian restaurant on the top floor of Union Station. Great food. The sign in front just says Cafe.

This tour towards the beginning of our trip made it extra special!! We discovered some of our favorite bakeries/cafes and other places to visit. And our guide Sam shared some interesting little known historical facts and offered personalized tips/suggestions to guide us on the restvof our journey. Plus of course the donuts/pastries were delicious 😋!! Highly recommend for something a bit unique without a big time commitment.

We loved the DC donut tour. Originally only signed up for the benefit of my foodie teen daughter and didn't expect much but wow - expectations blown! We learned some DC history, got great photos of the White House, met a great human being (who also happened to be our tour guide Sam) and ate some great food (mostly donuts but we also had some delicious chicken at Astros, a favorite stop). Highly recommend!
