This was one of the best food tours I have ever been on! We did so much in three hours and learned so much about Porto while getting to eat and drink many local delicacies. Our guide Lucas was so friendly and knowledgable about everything. There was no question that he couldn't answer and he kept the energy up for the entire tour. Definitely have a small breakfast if you are doing the 10 am tour because we had so much to eat, and everything was delicious! All of the spots were about a 5-10 minute walk apart, so it never felt like we were walking too much. Can't recommend this enough!

What an awesome food and drink tour! Our guide Lucas was so friendly and taught us so much about Porto! Each stop focused on a different part of Porto's culture and taught us something new. Our first stop was for traditional Porto soup (kale and sausage in a potato broth), an amazing pork sandwich, and a local beer. The restaurant was a local favorite for Porto natives. A quick walk took us to a coffee shop that dated back to the 1930s. We had espresso, an egg custard tart, and cod cakes. We then walked to the public market and heard about the history of the market and its recent upgrades. My favorite part was visiting a wine store, where we had a charcuterie board and a wine tasting. We finished our tour with a port tasting and an in-depth explanation of port. I have been on lots of food tours and this one is one of the best! We did so much in three hours and got to see a lot of the city while enjoying the food and drink! Definitely worth the price!

We had the very best guide - Ana. We were lucky enough to score her for ourselves (3 of us). Ana was extremely engaging, knowledgeable and entertaining. We started w/a bifana sandwich w/a potato/cod croquette both delicious & choice of wine or beer. We went to a local market & had a small charcuterie plate with wine, a great coffee bar & had coffee & patria de nata (much better than we’ve had elsewhere, including Lisbon). Ana had the history of a lot of the building we passed & we walked through the “Big Bubble”
Market where she pointed out various places to try things out on our own.
During our chat we told her we were in the Azores, but had not tried the pineapple. She swung us by a store where we could taste something made w/the Azores pineapples, so she totally customized part of our tasting on the fly. We ended with a wonderful port tasting.
So, bottom line - Ana was a great guide (best we have experienced), there was plenty of food and plenty of drinks.
Totally enjoyed spending time with Ana.

We experienced a part of Porto we never would have discovered on our own. Small shops, great local food and wine and lots of valuable information. We tried multiple wi es and loved the big Ana pork sandwich. Guide Ana had answers for every question except how many bars there are in Porto… too many to count. Don’t miss this tour.
