The tour was amazing, and all the food was great. The tour guide, Carlos, was amazing; he was a wealth of knowledge and just a genuinely good guy. I’d recommend that if you take this tour, try to get Carlos—you won’t be disappointed.

What a wonderful experience with Carlos. He is so knowledgeable about Scottish culture and had great stories to tell. I felt it was a great variation of popular Scottish cuisine and drinks. All of which tasted amazing. This is my 4th tour and as always, Secret Food Tours never disappoints.

Our small group of 5 had an entertaining time with the guide, Carlos. Every stop was met with a delicious Scottish dish and a wee bit of history. We had the best haggis so far. Scones were freshly baked for us. We had the free "drink upgrade" and got to try amazing whisky and gin samples. If we had to complain about anything, it was the almost room temperature beer - not a fan. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would thoroughly recommend it.

Carlos was knowledgeable and did an excellent job pointing out the best of the Royal Mile. He gave us a lot of information on Scotland, and Edinburgh. The food at every stop was delicious and we had a great time. I highly recommend this activity.

We LOVED this food tour led by Carlos, and would highly recommend it for all visitors to Scotland. The food choices and restaurant stops were unique and accommodating, giving our group a great “taste of Scotland.” We loved the first restaurant, George IV, so much that we ate there two more times. Carlos had Scottish history, Edinburgh interesting tidbits, and much folklore regarding Scotland and its people available to discuss on and throughout our tour. Great tour!! It was a favorite of ours.

This was one of my favorite tours we did in Edinburgh! Skye was a phenomenal guide and thoughtfully selected each stope we went to. We stopped at several local, family owned restaurants and had a selection of Scottish fare. Highly recommend this tour!
